Recent reports claim that Chelsea and Real Madrid have agreed a deal for Blues goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.
Get French Football News claimed that a €35m agreement between Chelsea and Real Madrid for the transfer of Courtois has been done, and a 4-year contract for Courtois is imminent.
However, Belgium journalist Kristoff Terreur confirmed in a tweet that Chelsea will only sell Courtois if the club can get a new goalkeeper before the close of the window.
He said: “The talks between Real and Chelsea over a fee were in an advanced stage before the weekend. But Chelsea need another goalkeeper first.”
Chelsea have been strongly linked with Roma goalie Alisson, but the Blues will have to face a fight from Liverpool who are also interested in the Brazilian.
