New Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri is reportedly willing to sell Olivier Giroud and Alvaro Morata to land Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain according to the Mirror.
Sarri worked with Higuain at Napoli before the Argentine moved to Juventus and he reportedly wants the striker at Stamford Bridge.
Higuain has been linked with a summer exit following Juventus’ capture of Cristiano Ronaldo and Sarri is reportedly willing to sell Morata and Giroud to make room for Higuain.
Sarri has promised to entertain Chelsea fans with good football and he believes Higuain can provide the goals Chelsea need.
“I hope we can provide some entertaining football for our fans, and that we will be competing for trophies at the end of the season, which is what this club deserves,” Sarri said during his unveiling.
