Chelsea are set to return with an improved offer for Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker after the first offer for the Brazilian was rejected.
According to Sky Italia, Chelsea’s opening offer of €60million (£53million) was turned down by Roma and the Blues are set to return with an improved offer of €70million (£61.9million).
It is believed Roma want in excess of £80m for Alisson, who is also wanted by Liverpool and Real Madrid.
Alisson is viewed as one of the best goalkeepers in the world and with Thibaut Courtois expected to leave for Real Madrid, Chelsea are keen on signing the highly-rated 25-year-old goalkeeper.
Courtois has just twelve months left on his Chelsea contract and he desires to return to Madrid where his children live.
