Maurizio Sarri has been pictured outside Stamford Bridge ahead of his proposed appointment as Chelsea manager.

Sky Sports have gone on to confirm Sarri has agreed a deal to become Chelsea head coach, with Gianfranco Zola as his assistant.

The contracts were signed at Stamford Bridge during a two hour meeting, the former Napoli manager was accompanied by his agents and lawyers and Gianfranco Zola, who will be his top assistant, was also present.

Antonio Conte’s sack was confirmed earlier today, and Chelsea are expected to announce Sarri’s signing soon.
