From Higuain to Seri, to Rugani and Koulibaly, Chelsea have been linked with a number of targets this summer, but no deal has been made official yet.
However, former Russia manager Valery Gazzaev has claimed that Russian star Aleksandr Golovin has signed a contract to join Chelsea this summer.
The 22-year-old has been Russia’s talisman at the World Cup with a goal and two assists in three appearances so far, and last week, Golovin’s mother revealed that Chelsea had been in contact with CSKA Moscow over a deal for the midfielder amid reports have claimed that Chelsea are working on a £27m deal to sign the midfielder.
Gazzaev, who has managed both CSKA and Russia’s national team, claims Golovin has already agreed to join Chelsea and admits the player is ready for the move.
“I think that Golovin will decide where he should go,” Gazzaev told Mir 24.
“As far as I know, he already signed a contract with Chelsea.
“It seems to me that this is a good enough opportunity and a good contract.
“On the one hand this is a plus, on the other, a great responsibility.
“I think that he is ready, given the way he has played at the World Cup, played in the Russian league and the Champions League.”
