Prior to the World Cup in Russia, Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud vowed to go bald if France ended up winning the World Cup.
Last weekend France were crowned world champions following a 4-2 win over Croatia in the final in Russia, leaving Giroud with a vow to fulfill.
“I only have one word, so I will respect it. My wife wants me to do it after the baptism of our son on Sunday,” Giroud said.
“Hugo Lloris also said he’d do it.”
However, fans are pleading with him to forget his vow and maintain his current look.
The 31-year-old isn’t expected to be part of Chelsea’s tour of Australia after being given an extended break following France’s World Cup triumph.
