Eden Hazard has been one of stars in the World Cup in Russia, and the Chelsea star was on fire as Belgium defeated England in the third place play-off on Saturday evening.

Hazard caused England many problems when on the ball and was rewarded on the 82nd minute when he made no mistake with his near-post finish having been sent clean through by Kevin De Bruyne.

Hazard’s goal was his third in the tournament, and the Chelsea star met a Belgium World Cup record that was set by Jan Ceulemans in 1966.

According to Opta Stat, Hazard has been directly involved in seven goals at the World Cup (three goals, four assists); the joint-most of any Belgium player since 1966 (Jan Ceulemans also with seven).
