Chelsea new signing Jorginho stood out in midfield as Chelsea won Perth Glory 1-0 in Australia on Monday.
Despite scoring just one goal, Chelsea created chance after chance and were all over Perth Glory, especially in the first half.
Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri complained Chelsea’s performance dropped after the break and it’s no coincidence that our performance dropped after Jorginho was hooked at half-time.
Judging by his performance against Perth Glory, it’s now obvious to see why Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola was unhappy he couldn’t sign Jorginho.
Jorginho made 101 touches and completed 92 passes before he was hooked at half-time. That’s quite impressive.
With jorginho i trust..my blood is blue
