Leicester City have signed Liverpool goalkeeper Danny Ward for an undisclosed fee as the 25-year-old agreed terms on a four-year deal at the King Power Stadium.
Ward impressed while on loan at Huddersfield Town in the 2016-17 season where he helped the team win promotion to the Premier League which caught the attention of Leicester City.
Ward’s move to Leicester City is somewhat related to Chelsea if rumours are to go by.
Real Madrid are keen on signing Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois who has just a year left on his contract, and the Blues are believed to be in the market for Courtois’ replacement.
Chelsea have been linked with Leicester No.1 Kasper Schmeichel, and the signing of Ward might just make the Danish goalkeeper available.
