Three Chelsea players have ended their World Cup vacation and have returned to the club to prepare for the new season.

Antonio Rudiger, Victor Moses and Kenneth Omeruo have returned to Cobham, after a World Cup that saw them eliminated in the group stage. All three of them were involved in the World Cup but neither of their teams made it beyond the group stages. Nigeria finished third behind Croatia and Argentina, while Germany shockingly exited the tournament as they finished last in a group containing Mexico, Sweden, and South Korea.

The rest of the Chelsea squad have flown to Australia for pre-season, but Rudiger, Moses and Omeruo returned to Cobham today.

Omeruo will most certainly leave on loan again, while Moses and Rudiger will have to impress Sarri as their positions might be shaky in the highly anticipated Sarri-ball.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
