Barcelona have seen a £50m bid for Chelsea star Willian turned down, and it seems the Spanish giants haven’t given up hopes of signing the Brazilian.

Chelsea are said to have slapped a £71m asking price on Willian, but Barca aren’t willing to spend so much on the Brazilian.

According to Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona cannot afford to pay so much for Willian, so the club have proposed a player-plus-cash swap deal instead.

The Catalan club are willing to include three fringe players in the deal, none of whom are in Ernesto Valverde’s first-team plans for next season.

Paulinho, Andre Gomes and Rafinha are the three players Barca are willing to add in the deal, and Barca are also willing to sell the trio.

Rafinha spent the second half of last season on loan at Inter Milan, though the Italian side declined to activate their buy-out option.
