Just after a year after joining Chelsea, Danny Drinkwater has been linked with a Chelsea exit, with the Blues said to have slapped a £30m transfer fee on the Englishman.

The 28-year-old has had a frustrating first year at the Blues and it is now likely that he will leave.

Drinkwater who signed for £35m from Leicester City on deadline day last summer made just five Premier League starts, as his season was rampaged by injury.

According to the Telegraph, Chelsea are looking to recoup much of what they spent on the midfielder by pricing him at £30m.
