Alvaro Morata has been increasingly linked with a move away from Chelsea since it was known that Maurizio Sarri will become the new boss and Antonio Conte was going to be axed.
Morata joined Chelsea in a club record £58m deal from Real Madrid last summer but struggled during his debut campaign in England, and the appointment of Sarri has increased the likelihood of him leaving this summer.
The Italian wants to sign Juventus star Gonzalo Higuain, having worked with the Argentine at Napoli.
AC Milan are reportedly keen on signing the Chelsea striker, but Sky Sports claim the Blues want £62m for the forward.
Milan’s new sporting director Leonardo is believed to have initiated talks with Chelsea and believes Morata is keen on a return to Italy.
