Olivier Giroud was signed by Chelsea just a few months ago, as the France international swapped North London side, Arsenal to play for West London Blues, and he played a pivotal role for the Blues usurping Alvaro Morata in the striking role and helped win the FA Cup for Chelsea.
However, rumours of a likely exit have come up since the appointment of Maurizio Sarri as the new Blues manager. The 31-year-old doesn’t look suitable for Sarri’s style of football, and this has made the rumours fashion out a possible exit for Giroud.
Contrary to those rumours, Daily Mail claim he has decided to stay at Chelsea and rival Morata for a place in new manager Maurizio Sarri’s starting line-up.
Chelsea are also being strongly linked with Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain, and his arrival could lead to the departure of one of our strikers.
