Davide Zappacosta’s debut season at Chelsea didn’t go as planned, and reports claim Chelsea are willing to let go of the Italian just one year after signing him.
Inter Milan are keen on the 26-year-old, but reports claim they aren’t ready to meet Chelsea’s €30 million asking price for the Italy international.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the transfer remains “blocked” by Chelsea. Zappacosta’s agent Alessandro Lucci met several times with Inter, but they have yet to meet terms with Chelsea on a fee.
Chelsea spent €25 million to sign Zappacosta on transfer deadline day last summer, but the Blues are ready to let go of the Italian, howbeit Chelsea will want to make a little profit from his sale.
