Chelsea are in the race to sign two Juventus players before the end of the transfer window, as Daniele Rugani and Gonzalo Higuain are strongly tipped to join Chelsea this summer.
Maurizio Sarri is keen on bringing highly rated Rugani to Stamford Bridge, but when asked about Chelsea’s pursuit of Rugani, his representative Davide Torchia played coy on the subject.
He told Radio Sportiva: “The interest from Chelsea is there for Rugani.
“Beyond the figures though there’s a technical question, neither the player nor Juventus have ever said they want a sale.”
Gonzalo Higuain is also on Chelsea’s radar and Torchia admitted Sarri’s interest in the Juventus striker, but revealed that they are two separate deals.
“The operation with Chelsea is separate from [Gonzalo] Higuain, each deal has a different cost and different dynamics,” he added.
“The two players can bring in different profits. Rugani is calm and happy, he’s at the pre-season training camp and he’s thinking about Juventus.
“Tonight he’ll play against Bayern Munich, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have offers, just that he’s thinking of his current club, which is at the highest level.”
