Chelsea will reject any offer from Real Madrid and Barcelona for Chelsea star Eden Hazard according to a report on the Guardian.
Hazard recently suggested the time may be right for him to move on after six successful years at Stamford Bridge but Chelsea aren’t prepared to let him leave.
“I will go on holiday and ask myself the right questions. After six wonderful years at Chelsea, it might be time to discover something different,” Hazard said.
“I can decide if I want to stay or go, but Chelsea will make the final decision – if they want to let me go. For my career, certainly after this World Cup, I’m at a moment where I might change.”
Chelsea are reportedly willing to let Thibaut Courtois leave Stamford Bridge this summer but there is no desire to let Hazard leave.
Chelsea will only let Hazard leave for a transfer fee of more than £200 million but the Blues are hoping Hazard signs a new Chelsea contract worth more than £300,000 per week.
Hazard is just a player, and a player is just like a soldier. A soldier will go another will come and yet the barracks will still remain the same.
