Reports last week claimed Chelsea had rejected an offer of £50m from Barcelona for Willian, and the Blues were also braced to ward off any offer from Manchester United for the Brazilian.

Rumours of an unhappy Willian emerged after the Brazilian wasn’t given enough starting opportunities under Antonio Conte last season.

Willian is having a good time in the World Cup as he has helped Brazil reach the quarterfinal after beating mexico 2-0 on Monday night.

Willian however, chose not to talk about Conte after the game.

“How important was Conte for you?” Willain was asked by a journalist. But he replied: “I don’t want to say nothing about him.”
