Brazil remains one of the favourites to lift the World Cup in Russia, and Chelsea star Willian has been one of Brazil’s shining lights in Russia.
Brazil has a fearsome frontline as Tite pits Willian, Coutinho, Gabriel Jesus and Neymar in the same lineup, and ahead of Friday’s quarterfinal World Cup clash against Belgium, Willian has revealed that Brazil must continue their style of play to defeat Belgium.
“We have lots of respect for our rival. We know how much quality Belgium have got,” he said. “But we have to maintain our same way of playing, getting better every game, and that is what we will take into this match.”
Willian sounded confident ahead of the game as he insists Brazil know what to do.
“We know what we have to do,” he told reporters at Brazil’s base in Sochi. “We are going to continue studying them to try and neutralise them and hit them at their weak points.”
