Thibaut Courtois has finally gotten his dream move to Real Madrid after four years at the club, and in his stead Chelsea secured the signing of Kepa Arrizabalaga for a world record fee of £71.6m from Athletic Bilbao.
Chelsea legend John Terry took to social media to bid farewell to his former teammate, Courtois, who he considers as the best goalkeeper in the world, and wished him well in his new challenge at Los Blancos.
The former Chelsea captain also welcomed Kepa to the club and hopes he will become as great as both Courtois and Cech, who holds the record of most clean sheets in Premier League history.
Terry wrote: “Good Luck @thibautcourtois in your new chapter @realmadrid. A great man and for me the best keeper in the world 💙👊🏻 @chelseafc. We welcome @kepaarrizabalaga to our club and hope he can be as successful as you and @petrcech 💙”
