Michy Batshuayi completed a loan move away from Chelsea on Friday as the Belgian will spend this season on loan with Valencia.
Batshuayi isn’t the only experienced player to have gone out on loan this season, as we’ve seen Kurt Zouma also join Everton on loan.
Another player that could yet leave the club on loan is Tiemoue Bakayoko. The 24-year-old has failed to live up to expectations at Stamford Bridge after being a hit for Monaco just two seasons ago.
And with the signing of Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic over the summer, Chelsea now have a wide array of midfield options, which also include Cesc Fabregas, N’Golo Kante, Danny Drinkwater, Ross Barkley and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
AC Milan are heavily interested in Bakayoko, and Sky Italia (h/t Football-Italia) reported Milan were in “advanced talks” regarding the midfielder, “with a loan with option to buy being discussed.”
