Chelsea will not partake in this season’s Champions League having ended last season in fifth position.
The competition for a Champions League spot in the Premier League is getting tougher, with six big teams fighting for four slots, and Wes Brown has picked four teams for the top four this season.
Brown has revealed Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea are the teams to make the top four this season.
He told Starsport: “Everyone’s chasing City, they were fantastic last year running away with the league.
“But there’s teams that you can see have got players in and they’re looking to challenge as well.
“It’s probably going to be one of the best seasons that we’ve seen.
“I think the top four will be United, City, Liverpool and Chelsea. So that’s Spurs out of it and Arsenal.
“I don’t think Arsenal will struggle but I don’t think they’ll win the league though.
“Top four, it’s going to be tight that’s the best thing about it.”
