Eden Hazard has ended speculation about an imminent switch to Real Madrid and has pledged his immediate future to Maurizio Sarri’s new Chelsea regime.
“For the moment, I am happy,” Hazard said after the game against Arsenal. “I have two more years of contract and we will see what will happen.
“Leave this year? I will not leave. I’m fine here, we’ll see what happens in a year or two.”
The 27-year-old is contracted until 2020 but Chelsea are keen to tie him to a new deal.
Chelsea will reportedly offer Eden Hazard a new contract worth £300,000 per week as they bid to secure his future amid speculation he is wanted by La Liga giants Barcelona and Real Madrid.
