Chelsea have broken the world transfer record for a goalkeeper to land Kepa Arrizabalaga from Spanish side Athletic Bilbao.

The 23-year-old Spanish international goalkeeper arrives ahead of the new Premier League season having signed a seven-year contract at Stamford Bridge.

Kepa, who has played over 100 career league games, has solid experience at the highest level having made more than 50 appearances in La Liga, his quality earning him a call-up to the Spain squad for this summer’s World Cup in Russia.

Chelsea triggered his release clause of £72m to bring him to Stamford Bridge, surpassing the £67m Liverpool paid for Alisson.

Thanks to Chelsea FC for showing ambitions to back the new coach, it’s an amazing news after courtois disrespected a club that took him from Belgium into the really life global football.
I hope he will be a gud servant for our might blues 👏👏👏
    Good luck kepa.
