It seems to be happy days at Stamford Bridge, with results going our way and the team playing exciting football.
However, one major news Chelsea fans are waiting for is assurances about Eden hazard’s future at the Bridge. The Belgian superstar is a fan favourite and every real Chelsea fan want him to remain at the club.
After the victory over Arsenal, Hazard was asked about his future, after being persistently linked with a move to Real Madrid. He acknowledged that he was tempted by the move to Madrid but assured that he will remain at the club and that he’s happy at Chelsea.
“Everybody knows what I have said after the World Cup,” Hazard told French station RMC.
“But I’m happy here. I don’t want to talk about it yet. A lot has been said, but at the moment I’m happy.
“I have two years left on my contract and we’ll see what happens. Leaving this year? I won’t go.”
He continued: “Today we have seen that the fans quite like me. I’m good where I am now. Let’s see what happens in one or two years.
“The transfer market in England is closed. Clubs can still sell players, but not sign new ones anymore. It would be a bit strange that they would sell me now while they can’t sign a replacement.”
Hazard came in for Willian in the second half against Arsenal and changed the game for Chelsea.
