Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi is fighting hard to stake a claim in the Chelsea first team after impressing yet again in another pre-season fixture.

After putting in impressive performances in the victories over Perth Glory and Inter Milan, the highly rated teenager was at it against Arsenal tonight as he was the best player for the Blues tonight.

The 17-year-old was absolutely outstanding on the left side of Chelsea’s attack as he had a Premier League veteran in Hector Bellerin on toast constantly.

His excellent skill and pace caused troubles for Bellerin who eventually fouled him in the penalty box, but Alvaro Morata missed the penalty that followed.

Hudson-Odoi could easily have had a hatrick of assists but his teammates weren’t able to turn his chances into goals.

The youngster could also have gotten on the scoresheet just before half-time, but the brilliant Cech saved his shot from a one-on-one situation.
