Two key Chelsea players faced each other in a crucial World Cup tie as France and Belgium met in the semifinal of the World Cup in Russia.
Eden Hazard and N’Golo Kante were up against each other in that fixture, but it was Kante’s France that got the victory.
Speaking to the official Chelsea website, Kante has admitted how difficult it was playing against Hazard.
He said: “Eden is a fantastic player. We all know his ability to dribble and cause problems for the defender. He was very good during the World Cup, especially against us.
“We tried to keep him quiet, but sometimes he made the difference. We were able to do a good game together, to stop him, and to win the game, but he did a beautiful tournament.”
