The transfer window closes on Thursday, and reports claim Chelsea are ready to trigger the release clause of Athletic Bilbao goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.
Thibaut Courtois refused to turn up for training and is keen on forcing an exit from the club, which have made Chelsea seek a new keeper.
Speaking in his post-match press conference, Sarri was asked about the Courtois and Kepa situation, and when asked if Courtois will leave, he said: “I don’t know. I am here to talk about the match. I don’t know at this moment. I want to speak to the club and then see.”
When asked about Kepa, Sarri said: “If I don’t know anything about Courtois, I don’t know anything about Kepa, of course.”
However, Sarri admitted that he admires the young 23-year-old. He said: “I saw him one year ago for Naples. My first impression was that he is a very good goalkeeper, very young, but very, very good.”
