Thibaut Courtois have been linked with a move to Real Madrid, and the Blues goalkeeper has often spoken about his admiration for the city of Madrid.
However, new Madrid boss Julen Lopetegui has admitted that he doesn’t need a new goalkeeper at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Madrid recently signed from Zorya Luhansk, and also boast of Keylor Navas and young Ukrainian Andriy Lunin.
Speaking after Madrid’s defeat to Manchester United in a pre-season friendly, Lopetegui said: “At no time am I going to talk about players who are not at Real Madrid.
“I am thrilled with the goalkeepers that I have and I will not talk about players who are not part of this team.”
