Chelsea forward Pedro believes having a manager like Maurizio Sarri is good for his confidence because of Sarri’s idea of football.
“To press really high against the central defenders and full-backs, to recover the ball quickly, attack the spaces and play between the lines,” Pedro said of his role under Sarri.
“It depends on the opponent but it’s very good for me and my confidence to have a manager with this idea. We can improve a lot together but this is the right way.
“I’m feeling very good. I’m confident on the pitch with my team-mates. I didn’t score against Arsenal but the most important thing was the teamwork. We pressed together, recovered the ball very quickly and play with very good possession to create chances, and this is the way for us for the future.”
