Jorginho: Had the most passes on the pitch, and dictated Chelsea’s play from deep. 7/10

Kovacic: It was a difficult game against a choked Newcastle defence, but he gave a good account of himself. 6.5/10
Hazard: Had a good game as he caused problems for Newcastle’s defence. Calmly slotted the ball into the net from the penalty spot for the opening goal. 7.5/10
Pedro: Worked very hard but didn’t find enough space to threaten the Magpies. 6.5/10
Morata: Was a difficult game against Newcastle’s tight backline, but he still managed to put up a decent performance. 6/10
