Thibaut Courtois seems to have drawn the wrath of the Chelsea board after the 26-year-old failed to report to training.

Courtois is keen on moving to Real Madrid, and reports claim he’s ready to force a move away from Stamford Bridge, despite having just one year left on his Chelsea contract.

Courtois was due back to training on Monday alongside his Belgium teammates Eden Hazard and Michy Batshuayi, but the goalkeeper failed to turn up, and Chelsea have opened disciplinary procedures against Thibaut Courtois and are set to hit the goalkeeper with a £200,000 fine for failing to report back to training.

According to The Sun, Courtois could be fined £200,000 – equivalent to two week’s wages – as punishment for missing training.

The Blues are now being linked with a dying minute move for Athletic Bilbao goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.
