Chelsea star Willian, just turned 30 last week and has less than two years to run on his current deal with the club.
The Brazilian has had interest from Manchester United and Barcelona, but he has stay put with Chelsea, and the club are now ready to reward his loyalty with a new two-year deal.
Chelsea have a policy of handling only a one-year contract to players 30 and above, but the Blues will offer Willian a two-year deal to extend his five-year stay in west London.
Willian earns around £120,000-a-week with the Blues and can expect around a 20% rise in a new deal.
If the Brazilian fails to sign a new deal, then he’d have just one year left on his Chelsea contract at the end of the season, and Maurizio is keen on keeping his star players.
