Chelsea start their Premier League campaign this afternoon with a visit the John Smith Stadium to face Huddersfield.
It’ll be Maurizio Sarri’s first official game in charge of the Blues and he will have his first Premier League experience.
Sarri has admitted he’s expecting a tough game against the Terriers and that he’s also trying to adapt to the Premier League.
“I think it will be a difficult game because Huddersfield have had a good pre-season,” said the Chelsea boss.
“They started really well in the last Premier League season, too. So in this moment, you have to say that they can be a very dangerous opponent.
“I saw the last three matches of Huddersfield’s pre-season and a game against Liverpool from last season. I chose this particular game because Liverpool played 4-3-3 in this period.
“I’m learning a lot about the English league and I have to do it week-by-week. During pre-season, I was really busy with other things, but I have to study and learn about the Premier League each week. I have started with Huddersfield, who I respect very much, and at this moment, they are a very difficult team.”
