Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi is fighting hard to stake a claim in the Chelsea first team after impressing yet again in another pre-season fixture, and Maurizio Sarri has really been impressed with the youngster.
After putting in impressive performances in the victories over Perth Glory and Inter Milan, the highly rated teenager was at it against Arsenal tonight as he was the best player against the Gunners.
The 17-year-old was absolutely outstanding on the left side of Chelsea’s attack as he had a Premier League veteran in Hector Bellerin on toast constantly.
And now, Sarri has acknowledged that the teenager will be with the senior squad next season.
“He will stay with us for all the season,” Sarri said.
“He is a very young player. We have to wait. In the future he will be a very, very strong player.”
