Chelsea opened their Premier League campaign with a 3-0 victory over Huddersfield away from home.
The game was difficult but Maurizio Sarri’s side were up to the trick, and in the second half, Chelsea were able to play a bit of Sarri’s much famed Sarri-ball football.
Sarri believes it will take up to two or three months for the team to adapt to his system.
When asked how long it will take to reach their potential as a team, Sarri said: “It depends on me and the players. I don’t know. The situation until now has been very difficult.
“On Monday four players from the World Cup arrived. And then on Tuesday another two, so it’s not been easy for me at the moment. Hopefully two months and not three.”
