Ross Barkley will definitely have a huge role to play for Chelsea this season, and the January transfer signing has had a good start to the season.
After a wonderful pre-season, Barkley started against Huddersfield and Arsenal in the Premier League and despite playing well, he was unlucky to lose his place to loan signing Mateo Kovacic away at Newcastle on Sunday.
The 24-year-old has been training hard and trying to impress the manager on the training ground, to the extent that he embarrassed teammate Marcos Alonso at Chelsea’s Cobham training ground this week.
He nutmegged the Spaniard and left the rest of the team in awe, with Eden Hazard and David Luiz the most baffled.
