A change of style is expected from Chelsea this season under Maurizio Sarri, as the Italian will try to bring in his system called Sarri-ball.
Already, in Willian’s short time of working with him, Willian has appreciated the Italian’s managerial methodology and he hopes the team can put it into practice when the Premier League restarts for the Blues on Saturday.
Willian said: “He’s a great manager, an intelligent manager who works a lot. He is trying to improve us.
“Of course it is just the start, we are right at the beginning, but we can improve a lot and do good things this season.”
Willian was also joyed to start and play for 65 minutes in the game against Lyon, and he can’t wait for the season to start.
“It was good to play at home and feel the atmosphere from the fans,” Willian said.
“I am ready to play. Of course I have to improve more in the physical aspect, but I felt good playing around 65 minutes. It was good for me. Now we have to look forward because we have a lot of games and we want to win titles.”
