Former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho still has a very good relationship with Chelsea winger Willian, and despite leaving Stamford Bridge in 2015, there has been no love lost between the two.

Mourinho is still keen on working with Willian and has tried to take the Chelsea star to Old Trafford but hasn’t been successful with his plans.

Willian has now revealed that the United boss has been telling his agent to sign him for Manchester United, but he added that although he will like to play for Mourinho again, he loves Chelsea and is happy to stay at the club.

“Mourinho is the best manager I’ve ever worked with. We have a good relationship, we are friends,” Willian told ESPN Brasil.

“Sometimes we talk, we text, we send messages to each other via WhatsApp. He is a great manager, I really enjoyed working with him. I hope I can work with him again someday.”

He added: “I don’t know if there was any official bid [from Manchester United], but some things have happened.

“Also, everything comes out on the internet, too. But Mourinho talks to my agent all the time, he says ‘bring him, bring him’. ‘No, he has never called me, but he always sends me text messages.”

He also said: “I am very happy at Chelsea, I want to stay in the club.

“I also like living in London, it is an amazing city, and my family is well adapted. So yeah, I intend to stay at Chelsea.”

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
