Spanish side Real Madrid are reportedly interested in Chelsea star Willian but the Brazilian revealed after the 2-0 Community Shield loss to Manchester City on Sunday that he is happy at Chelsea.
Speaking after the game in which he appeared as a second-half substitute, Willian said: “I’m happy here, I’m happy at Chelsea to play here.
“I’m looking forward to playing well and to win titles.”
Willian’s appearance in the defeat to Manchester City came after just three days of pre-season training under new manager Maurizio Sarri.
“I feel good,” Willian continued. “I feel good after three days of training, of course I am not my best performance, my best condition.
“But to play this kind of games is very important and I play, I think, 35 minutes which is good for me to keep improving.
“And we have to look forward because we have a great season to play and we’re going to try to win some titles.
“We have to learn in every game, not only this game, of course we want to win but we didn’t so now we have to keep going.
“We have a new manager with a new philosophy, a new profile of football so I have to keep going and try to train hard every day.”
