It’s been a wonderful start to the season for Maurizio Sarri’s side, as the new Chelsea boss has changed the team’s style of play to a more attacking style.
Sarri-ball has been a joy to watch, and Chelsea have dominated games with the Blues having the most possession in all games played so far this season.
So many Chelsea players have played well in Sarri’s system, and Marcos Alonso who has been outstanding has hailed Chelsea winger Pedro as the team’s best player in training.
When asked who has been the team’s best player in training, he told the official Chelsea website: “I’d say Pedro, he’s been on fire since pre-season.
“He was scoring in pre-season and he’s started really well so I hope he continues to score goals and helps us reach our target, which is to win everything.”
Alonso also revealed that Pedro has been one of the jokers in the dressing room.
When asked who the joker of the team is, Alonso said: “Pedro has been really funny lately. In the last couple of years he’s learnt English and now he cracks jokes in English as well, he’s very funny.”
Pedro has been excellent for Chelsea this season and has scored three goals already in the Premier League this season.
