Chelsea’s games against West Ham haven’t really been easy in recent times, and the Blues have an away trip to east London for a derby clash against the Hammers at the London Stadium on Sunday.
West Ham are currently 16th on the table and will host a rampaging Chelsea side who currently top the table and are yet to drop points so far this season.
No matter the distance between the two sides, it’s still a London derby, and we should be expecting a feisty cracker in east London.
The match will be officiated by experienced Premier League referee Mike Dean.
Dean has been a lucky charm for the Blues in recent months as Chelsea have won the last five games in which Dean has refereed and have lost just two of the last 20+ games in which he’s been in charge of.
Dean has taken charge of three games in the Premier League so far this campaign, and the 50-year-old has shown 10 yellow cards across those matches and his only red card came when he gave Jamie Vardy his marching orders.
The last six league meetings between Chelsea and West Ham have been tough, with both sides winning two games apiece and two games ending in a draw.
