Chelsea midfielder Ross Barkley believes Chelsea star Eden Hazard is the best player in the world at the moment.
Hazard has started the season brilliantly for Chelsea, scoring six goals and providing two assists in seven appearances for Chelsea this season. Three of those appearances have come from the bench.
Hazard scored a hat-trick in the 4-1 win over Cardiff City at Stamford Bridge and scored a brilliant solo effort as Chelsea beat Liverpool 2-1 on Wednesday night.
Chelsea legend John Terry hailed Hazard as the best player in the Premier League and in the world and Barkley agrees Hazard is the best player in the world at the moment.
“He is not a selfish player,” Barkley said about Hazard.
“He is happy getting two assists and the team winning. He is adding goals and he keeps improving. What did against Liverpool, honestly he’s doing it every day in training so it’s no surprise to us.
“What a goal! He’s one of the best players in the world and he shows it (constantly). But he’s been showing it for the last five or six years and he is establishing himself in the top three players in the world.
“At the minute, he is the best player in the world, I believe.”
