Ruben Loftus-Cheek will return to the Chelsea camp from the international break, having started for England in their 1-0 win over Switzerland.
Loftus-Cheek might be outside the Chelsea first eleven and is yet to make a start for the Blues this season, but he believes he has what it takes to break into the Chelsea first team.
The 22-year-old has revealed that he has had talks with manager Maurizio Sarri and he needs to learn the manager’s style of play.
“We had a lot of talks in the past couple of weeks and he told me that I need to learn tactically, so a lot of my focus and effort is learning his tactics and his ways in training,” said Loftus-Cheek.
“I think the quicker I get that then the more opportunities I will have to play.”
The England international also revealed that assistant boss and Blues legend Gianfranco Zola has been helping him in training.
“Gianfranco is helping me every day to learn it as quickly as possible and that is great for me.
“You couldn’t really get a better teacher than Zola.
“I was too young to watch him but obviously you see clips of what he did for Chelsea so to have him as an assistant is great for us players.
“And yeah, he still has a bit, man!”
