In the past two weeks, almost everyone in football has had something to say about Chelsea star Eden Hazard, and it all started after Blues boss Maurizio Sarri hailed him as the best in the world.
Hazard has been in extraordinary form this season, and was also in top form in the World Cup during the summer. Hazard already has seven goals in all competitions to his name, and this has prompted doubts whether he can keep his scoring ratio till the end of the season.
Hazard was amazing yet again in the draw against Liverpool and Blues defender David Luiz was asked whether the Belgian was the greatest player he had lined up alongside in his illustrious career.
“He’s one of the best for sure,” Luiz said.
“What he is doing is great. I am so happy for him. He’s a big friend and a big player, and he had another amazing game. He is doing better and better every week.”
However, as for Jorginho, who joined Chelsea from Napoli this summer, he has been impressed by the qualities of Hazard and hailed the Belgian as the best player he has played with.
“Eden Hazard is someone who every time he touches the ball you feel he’s going to score or pull of an amazing move,” Jorginho told Chelsea’s official website.
“He’s different to the rest, he has incredible potential and undoubtedly he’s the best player I’ve played with up until this point.
“He’s somebody who can decide a match on his own, he can create something out of absolutely nothing and that gives his team-mates a lot of confidence to give him the ball and to trust him.”
