Chelsea star Pedro has had the privilege of playing alongside Lionel Messi and Eden Hazard during his career and the Spaniard believe Hazard fully deserves to be bracketed along with Lionel Messi as one of the best players in the world.
Pedro spent eight years playing alongside Messi in the Barcelona first team before joining Chelsea in 2015 to team up with Hazard.
Pedro said according to the Mirror: “It is obvious that Eden Hazard is in the three, four players that are the best in the world like Leo, Cristiano Ronaldo , Neymar, Eden.
“Because Eden every year, you show your football and your numbers – score goals, assists, play a lot of minutes, play very good.
“I don’t know, maybe in a few years Eden can win the golden ball or another thing because he is a very good player.
“He is a big star. It is very good for us that Eden is in good form with good confidence, doesn’t lose ball, his dribbling very good, score goals.
“It is a very good help for the team and when this guy plays like this he is very difficult to stop.”
Hazard has started the season in fine form scoring five goals in five games and Pedro admits Hazard is playing with confidence.
“He is playing with good confidence and very high potential to score goals, help the team, no pressure but as well in a really good form physically,” Pedro added.
“This is also very important for the team because he is a very important player for the team.”
Pedro will miss Chelsea’s Premier League against West Ham on Sunday after hurting his shoulder in Chelsea’s 1-0 Europa League win against PAOK.
