Chelsea star Pedro hurt his shoulder towards the end of Chelsea’s 1-0 Europa League win over PAOK on Thursday in Greece.
With Chelsea having a congested fixture schedule in the coming weeks, fans have been wondering how long the Spaniard will be sidelined.
Pedro has reassured fans he won’t be out for too long after confirming he is okay.
“Good start in the Europa League,” Pedro wrote on Instagram.
“Everything’s OK despite the incident at the end of the game.
“Come on Blues!!”
Despite his claims of being okay, Pedro will definitely sit out Chelsea’s visit to West Ham on Sunday.
Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri revealed after the game against PAOK that the club doctor told him Pedro’s injury isn’t serious.
Sarri said: “It is a problem with his shoulder.
“I don’t know exactly the situation, I have only talked to the doctor for a few seconds and the doctor said probably it is not a very serious injury.”
Sarri also hinted that Pedro is a doubt for this weekend’s clash against West Ham at the London Stadium as well as the upcoming games against Liverpool.
Sarri added: “He’s a doubt for the upcoming West Ham game. A doubt for both of the Liverpool games.”
