Chelsea star Eden Hazard has been the most talked about footballer since last weekend’s round of Premier League matches.
It all started after the Belgian’s super performance against Cardiff which he scored a hat-trick. Hazard was spectacular in that game, and Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri couldn’t help but call him the best player in the world.
There has been a lot of arguments on where Hazard stands in the hierarchy of best players, and many pundits and ex footballers have weighed in their opinions.
Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic who joined Chelsea on loan during the summer is in awe of Hazard. Kovacic who had Cristiano Ronaldo in his team and played against the likes of Lionel Messi and Neymar has hailed Hazard’s qualities now that he trains with the Belgian.
For Kovacic, Hazard is one of the best three players in the world.
He said: “He’s very good. I didn’t know that he’s so good. Obviously I knew he was a great player but now when I see him playing with us every day and every week he is just incredible.
“For me in this moment he is one of the three best players in the world so I’m enjoying playing with him. The other players here, there is some amazing talent and we can do great things.”
