Chelsea defeated PAOK 1-0 to maintain our perfect start to the season with six wins out of six.
It was a comfortable victory for the Blues and Pedro was one of Chelsea’s best performers on the night. However, his night was cut short towards the end of the game after the Chelsea winger collided with PAOK goalkeeper following a deadly Chelsea counterattack.
Pedro was left with a shoulder dislocation after the challenge and couldn’t complete the rest of the game.
It looked like Pedro picked up a shoulder injury, but Sarri is hoping the Spaniard’s injury won’t be a serious one.
Speaking after the game, Sarri gave an update on the injured Spaniard. He said: “It is a problem with his shoulder.
“I don’t know exactly the situation, I have only talked to the doctor for a few seconds and the doctor said probably it is not a very serious injury.”
Pedro has been excellent this season with three goals to his credit so far, and Sarri hinted that he is a doubt for this weekend’s clash as well as the upcoming games against Liverpool.
He added: “He’s a doubt for the upcoming West Ham game. A doubt for both of the Liverpool games.”
