Chelsea, Watford and Liverpool have all had perfect starts to the new season, but Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri doesn’t want to talk about the title just yet.
The new Chelsea boss believes his side must improve first before he can set his sights on the title, and he pointed last season’s champions Manchester City and current table toppers Liverpool as Chelsea’s rivals for the title.
“At the moment I can answer Manchester City or Liverpool,” said Sarri, when asked who he felt were title challengers.
“We need another step I think to be at the same level. I think so, but I hope not.
“It’s very difficult. The gap last season was 30 points so I think to go above 30 points in one season is very, very difficult.
“I think we must improve but we can improve.”
